UK Mortgage for US Citizen and UK Fiance?

I am an American Citizen with good credit and my fiance lives in the UK but has gone through Bankruptcy and been discharged. Is there a way we can get a Mortgage together in the UK to purchase a property.

Unless you have a good credit history in the UK you wont be able to get a mortgage
and your fiance wont be able to et credit for 7 -10years .Sorry
